Re: “Hunting for Dummies

I have a few questions for Ms. Daigle: 1) Do you eat meat at all?? How about sushi or beef jerky? If so, the previous post is 100% accurate and you are a hypocrite that would rather support the industries and corporations within Wally-world than get off your lazy arse and do the job yourself. 2) Where did you reside before 7 years ago? Not that it matters all that much, but I can take one guess.... sounds kind of Californian with that “14 pointer” you mention…. Apparently wherever you were raised doesn't hold to the values of shooting, dressing and packaging your own meat, but going to Wal-mart to pay them for your mystery meat (WAL-MART FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!?!! WTF?!?), hormones and all. 3) The only gun you’ve ever shot was an AK-47? In Viet-freaking-NAM? I too would get freaked out if the only gun I ever shot was solely designed to kill humans. In Vietnam. On these same lines- when my girlfriend met me, she didn't eat meat. I took her fishing and hunting for my deer and she got to be a part of the excitement (my favorite memory of growing up was going hunting and fishing with my family, those savages), she now has a new-found-respect for the sport and appreciates her wild meat now. When’s the last time you've eaten meat that you truly appreciated?!? Was it that Butter-ball turkey or your pre-packaged hamburger that’s comprised of scores of different cattle?!? No thanks. Not here. Not when I can assure myself and my family that what we’re eating wasn’t the Poster-child for a PETA funded video, but the result of hard work, skills, and a great bonding experience we'll always share. By the way, your entire story was horrible. Next time BW intends on doing a story they may want to choose someone of competence that knows about the said topic.
