Re: “Dog Eat Dog

First of all I will say that I am a bit surprised that this "story" is even being written as there clearly is nothing news worthy here. There are actual cases of horrific abuse that go unnoticed, untouched and unpunished everyday, maybe some attention should be given to those cases. Next, as far as the Dog House and Richards training, I can't say enough. Those of us who know Richard know that he truly and passionately cares about each and every dog in his care. I have had the pleasure of training both of my dogs with Richard. My boys have attended classes and have gone to daycare and various events over the years at the Dog House. I have seen Richard in action with the best and worst of dogs and can honestly say that his training contains no form of abuse or unjustified correction. The training methods of the Dog House are the best by far that I have come across. It is a gentle and very effective method if followed through correctly by the dog owner. Being a dog business owner myself I recommend the Dog House whole heartedly to all of my clients. I am not sure what Mr. Limas agenda is, but there is clearly something wrong with this picture. Baxters owners clearly saw no abuse of their own dog, nor did anyone else present in the class.( They saw a good trainer defusing a situation in which both Baxter and Mr. Limas dog could have been injured.) In fact, each and every one of those folks are continuing with the class.... Its really rather a no brainer if you think about it. I am just disgusted that a reputable and well respected business is having to deal with absurd allegations with no justification what so ever. I for one will continue to support the Dog House, and Richard, and will continue to refer my own clients to him as I have 100% confidence in him, his abilities and his treatment of all the dogs in his care.
