Susanne's comment says it all, and very nicely and to the point! I would only emphasize that small cetaceans in particular are seen as pests who eat too much fish by the Japanese government who allows these massacres. It's hideous, think about it, picture it. We've yet to see footage of the actual killings. We as a species have got to start somewhere on ending this holocaust of all animals, and Taiji and the other killing coves in Japan, as well as their "research" whaling in the Southern Ocean whale sanctuary is a great place to start. Don't let them tell you're a hypocrite because your country factory farms sentient beings as well. It's all an unnecessary real life nightmare and has got to go, for the health of the planet and everything on it.
