Federal investigators been called in to investigate the discovery of anti-Muslim DVDs left on vehicles in the parking lot of Idaho State University in Pocatello.

KIDK-TV reports the FBI is on the case and investigators from the U.S. attorney's office are expected to be on campus in the coming days to ramp up the probe.

Human rights advocates are asking for a full investigation into who is responsible for leaving anti-Muslim DVDs on students' and staff's cars in the Idaho State University parking lots this week.

The DVDs were labeled "Idaho Muslims and Tommy Robinson." Robinson is the right-wing U.K. hate-monger who preaches against what he calls the "Islamisation of our countries."

Dave Finkelnburg, president of Pocatello-based 2Great4Hate told KIDK-TV that the distribution of the xenophobic DVDs at the Pocatello campus may have been "concocted as a sick prank or out of genuine hate."

"We promise the targets of this despicable act that this community is not compromised or not led by people who accept such racist, bigoted thinking," said Finkelnburg.
