Ray LaMontagne

Memorial Stadium, May 28

Baseball is America's pastime, but in the City of Trees warm weather brings another favorite activity: outdoor concerts. The Summerfield Concert Series, held in Memorial Stadium (headquarters of the Boise Hawks) brings music to a ballpark atmosphere for the ultimate lazy evening, and will kick off its third season with a performance by singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne. Folk devotees are likely already well-versed in LaMontagne's soft, easy vocals and delicate acoustic guitar harmonies from his 2010 album, God Willin' & the Creek Don't Rise (RCA Records), which scored a Grammy for Best Folk Album. LaMontagne will ride high in Boise following the May 18 release of his seventh record, Part of the Light (RCA Records, 2018). Don't miss his debut on the diamond.
