Re: “Free Spirits, Pottery and the Java Pulpit

what is sad is that anyone new to Boise that reads this that may be: Christian, Catholic, Muslim, Atheist, or anything else would not only see how judgmental the WRITER of this article is, but how unwelcoming to someone new! Is this really the reputation you want to portray is that we're a bunch of narrow-minded, ignorant people?

I love my gay friends just as much as I love my friends that are pastors. I find the good in them, love them for it and let the rest go. Although we may not always agree on matters, that's what makes us real.

I don't see anyone pointing out how many THOUSANDS of establishments are managed and owned by the LDS church and they do an amazing job at being professional and friendly-without trying to preach at you.

This coffee shop is fun, new and different.

Re: “Kana Girl's Hawai'ian BBQ

I eat where food tastes great. I look for quality, cleanliness, and great customer service. I found Kana's to be wonderful! Being from Hawai'i myself, this special little place not only felt cozy but brought me back home for 45 minutes. It's the closest thing I have to the real thing. If you're looking to shelter your children from a new experince-as well as culture, stick to red robin but if you're would like a great treat, go to Kana's Hawaiian BBQ and they'll give you a big ALOHA!!!

Re: “Parkcenter Fitness and Rec

First of all, Parkcenter Fitness is wonderful. YES, they are remodeling because the previous people ruined it as well as it got broke into when it was vacant. I've experienced wonderful customer service, helpful staff, a comfortable atmosphere and a great price! If you are looking for a fancy show, you're going to the gym for the wrong reasons. If you want a gym that's affordable, close to downtown and not crowded, join us!

sincerely, Idaho, not L.A.
