Idaho City Dutch Oven Cook-Off

Registration is closed for competitors in the annual Dutch oven cooking competition that takes place as part of the Idaho City Western Festival, but gawkers with hungry stomachs are invited to get at taste of the results on Saturday after the judges have made their rounds. Greek food is most definitely the headliner at this annual event celebrating all things Greek. Chow on dolmades, spanikopita, baklava, gyros and more while watching a little Greek dancing. Rocky Mountain Oyster Feed

Bet you didn't know this event started in the '50s. And, according to, Eagle, Idaho, holds the largest testicle-eating festival in the world. This annual event (sometimes referred to by its much crasser nickname: "the nut feed") benefits the Eagle Volunteer Firefighters Association during Eagle Fun Days.
