I saw an advanced screening of this film back in September. It's a powerful look at just what people will do to save their culture. It transcends culture and drives home the importance of an education and providing future generations with more opportunities. While it's sad to see these parents separate from their children in order to save them, it's also inspiring to see how committed they are to getting a good education. The setting of the Himalayas makes for a visually stunning backdrop for the profoundly human struggle.
