Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin

Thursday, Nov. 21, Neurolux

After more than 13 years and nearly as many EPs and LPs, there is still demand for Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin's brand of song--and not only in this country: the Missouri-based pop-rock band was named a U.S. State Department cultural ambassador and has visited, as the band calls it, "mother Russia." SSLYBY is back in the states and touring behind new album Fly By Wire (September 2013, Polyvinyl Records), a 26-track collection of B-sides and rarities, and the band's first release since Tape Club (2011, Polyvinyl Records). Paste Magazine calls "Loretta" a "golden track," while "Bright Leaves" is "sensitive and heartbreaking."
