"Stampede Signs Rubberboy, Laker Girls"

Now that we've got your attention and got you laughing with whatever mental image that headline puts in your nasty little noggin, let's discuss what you can expect at a Stampede game for entertainment this season.

Rubberboy the contortionist will open up the season with performances on Saturday, November 19 and Monday, November 21. Among the Y-Ball shootouts, performances from the Stampede's own spirit team and a game of wheelchair hoops, Stampede fans will see the Laker Girls (who are apparently off from their L.A. duty that week), the Beale Street Flippers from Memphis (who literally flip and jump and otherwise entertain), Olga Pinchienko (formerly of Cirque du Soleil), Squatch the Seattle Sonics' mascot, Boise's own Summerwind Skippers and the always popular Basque dancers.
