Boise Police Detectives and Boise Fire Investigators are turning to the public for help in their investigation into a string of arsons on the 2800 block of Cherry Lane. Yet another tree was set ablaze earlier this week in the same area that has already seen a number of fires for the past four weeks.

In late June, three fires were deliberately set near an apartment complex in the 2800 block of Cherry Lane. Investigators said all three involved similar circumstances, spreading to nearby garages. July 7, another structure was reported in the same area with a familiar pattern, this time coming perilously close to a residence. A week later, still another fire was reported, again on the 2800 block of Cherry Lane.

Residents are being asked to immediately report suspicious activity to 911 and anyone with information regarding the string of incidents is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS. A reward of $1,000 is being offered to information that leads to a felony arrest.
