Re: “Mr. Cope's Cave: Duck Nasty

No one, whether from the south or anywhere else on this earth, has the corner on the smart market, or ethical market, or goodness market.
Have you read American history? I believe sin is every where.
I grew up both on the east coast and in Virginia and Texas.
Every one is lost. Every one is opinionated. Every one is prejudiced against others. You think this is only a southern trait? There is no prejudice in the north or west?
The south has problems....so does Chicago, New York, Detroit, San Jose, Los Angeles, etc.
We must all stop making generalizations and having our own version of hateful bias against any other group or cultural area.
Hatred must stop with you and me. Forget Phil Robertson.
Look into the mirror, all of us.
Phil is not the problem. WE are the problem.
Mr. Cope, you have a problem, too.

Re: “Boise Couple Indicted for Human Trafficking Following Bust of Prostitution Ring

Human traffickers intimidate and use poor women against their will. There are 3 top money making illegal activities in the world today. They are drug trafficking, arms trafficking, and human trafficking, and all 3 happen in Boise. These illegal activities raise billions of dollars across the globe. More than any legitimate businesses will even make.

The women may be illegals who are afraid. They may be drugged, beaten and raped into submission, and then face continual beatings, rapes, and use of drugs. Trafficking is a form of slavery, against one's will. Women fear overwhelming retaliation if caught after escaping. They are threatened with the death of family members. They are forced to service men with out pay. Sometimes only given a bed and a meal. They are forced to have abortions.
To arrest the victim, as is done in 3rd world nations, is an affront to justice.
Procurement of a prostitute is a crime and the forced trafficking of a women (or boy or girl child) is a crime.
Hopefully, the women forced into prostitution will never be charged in the USA.
I would encourage all Americans to look up "human trafficking in the USA" on line and learn about this horrible crime.
