Tag: Zombies vs. Survivors

Take a lesson all you fundraising do-gooders out there: THIS is a fun idea for raising dough. Sure band and raffle fundraisers have their place in the world, but the Boise State lacrosse team gets big points for doing something different.

It's a giant game of tag: Zombies vs. the Survivors. If you're a Zombie, dig out your fake blood, your temporary hair color and all your green makeup. Put on your blood-spattered ripped T-shirt. And don't forget good running shoes.

If you're a survivor, put on your best "survivor" disguise and again, good running shoes.

When: Tonight. 7 p.m.-midnight

Where: Downtown Boise.

If you haven't already registered, do so tout suite so that you can get your course map. It's a lot like an alley cat race. You'll have five hours to complete five tasks at five designated stops on foot. No bikes, skateboards or motorized transportation of any kind.

Why? Cuz that's how Zombies roll, yo. Go ahead, pop in Shaun of the Dead and tell me if you see any Zombies cruising around on Segways. (And that goes for you survivors, too.)

Prizes are awarded to the first three survivors who make it through all the tasks, and, of course, there's a big party at the end.

To register e-mail the Zombie administrator, Jason Stephens at boisestatelacrosse@gmail.com. Include your name, age, phone number and whether you prefer to be a zombie or survivor.
