Tamarack Zipline Back in Business

Zipline tours up and running

Tamarack’s slopes may still be in question, but the resort’s zipline is joining its golf course in the land of resurrected recreation.

The zipline canopy tour reopened on July 30 after Experienced Based Learning, Inc. finalized a new operating agreement with resort management. The company will run the operation through the end of the season (we’re guessing until the snow flies).

According to a press release, EBL was the company that originally installed the zipline tour, made up of eight different lines hanging as high as 200 feet off the ground.

Tours will be operated Wednesday through Sunday and a three-hour tour (get the Gilligan’s Island theme song out of your head) will run $99 per person for groups as large as 10. Depending on demand, operations may be expanded to include additional days.

According to the Web site, no prior experience is needed, but visitors must fall somewhere between 85 and 270 pounds. For reservations, call 208-325-1006.
