Re: “Great White: Rare worm vs. farmers

HI IM KIMBERLY ANGELLE GRIFFIN ! 4-30-2010

I BELIEVE SHOCKING THEM OUT IS UNNECESSARY TRY WATER LIKE OUT HERE WITH NUTRIENTS IN IT! IN OUR DROUGHT IVE SWORN MINE WERE HUNGRY SEARCHING.......

I FOUND A GIANT PALOUSE WORM IN FAIRFIELD CALIFORNIA USA!
SHE HAD A LARGE PURPLE ONE & BABIES OF HER CLEAR ALBINO & REGULAR EARTHWORMS NEARBY IN THE HUMID DIRT PILE! I DISTRIBUTED THEM THROUGHOUT THE YARD!

THE SPIT THING MAY BE WRONG, IT EXPELLS ITS LIVE BIRTH IN ESCAPE MODE. I PLACED THE BABY WORM IN ANOTHER POTTING PLANT.

FUNNY FACT ABOUT THE PURPLE SPADED HEAD ONES. WHEN THE GROUND IS WEET THEY COME OUT AROUND 12:00 AM IN THE MORNING RESTING SOMETIMES MATING!! IVE CAUGHT A FEW! ONE NIGHT I CAME OUT & WITNESSED % WORMS SWAYING IN THE NIGHT AS IF BEING SNAKE CHARMED BY ONE OF THE NIGHT BIRDS!
********************************************************************
THE ALBINO WORM 7-8 inches SHRUNK BACK WHEN I TOUCHED HER TO A RECTANGULAR ART ERASER SHAPE. IVE NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE! ALL OTHERS LOOK LIKE REGULAR FAT WORMS. I LET HER GO & SHE DISAPPEARED IN OUR HILL DIRT PILE! RECENTLY 3 OF MY YOUNG CORN STALKS FELL OVER ROOTS CLEAN EATEN AWAY, I THINK IT WAS HER!

********************************************************************
I LIVE NEAR A MARSH THAT USE TO BE FLOODED & BELOW SEA LEVEL... IT IS ALSO A MARSH ZONE FOR WILDLIFE. & A NATIVE AMERICAN GROUND AREA FOR HUT BUILDERS & BASKET WEAVERS BEFORE 1800's WHEN THE SPANISH CAME! NEARBY IS ALSO THE CALIFORNIA SEQUIA REDWOODS , LAKE TAHOE, & YOSEMITE... SOLANO COUNTY IS NEAR NAPA & WE ARE A MAJOR MIGRATION ZONE FOR BIRDS UP NOTH FROM CANADA! MINE WAS FOUND IN A PILE OF DIRT, LEAF DECAY & WOOD SHAVINGS, AFTER OUR BACK YARD MULBERRY TREE FELL APART BURNT ., WHEN LIGHTENING STRUCK ABOVE OUR HOUSE! WE HAVE VIOLET COLORED EARTHWORMS THAT NORMALLY COME UP WITH WATER NOT ELECTRICITY. THE HUGE ONES LOUNGE IN THE GUTTER DURING RAINY SEASON & IN THE SUMMER A BREATHER WHEN THE GROUND IS WET! HUGE A COUPLE OF FEET!
