Trio Charged With Armed Robbery at Boise Hotel

An Idaho man and two women, one from Washington and another from Minnesota, are behind bars charged with an armed robbery at a Boise hotel.

Boise police were summoned to the Shilo Inn on South Broadway Avenue in the late afternoon hours of April 28. That's where witnesses told police that a man went to a hotel room to meet the suspects in response to an online advertisement. But the man was forced to hand over some cash at knifepoint. The man said he handed over his money and left, but police located the trio of suspects a short time later in the parking lot of the hotel.

Colton Johnson, 23, of Heyburn was charged with felony counts of robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Marisa Andrews, 20, of Rochester, Minn., was charged with robbery and failure to appear for a previous charge. Ariel McDermott, 27, of Bremerton, Wash., was charged with robbery.
