Patients travel to Pakistan from as far as Afghanistan to seek treatment for mental anguish sparked by war.

Afghan and Pakistani civilians traumatized by years of war and drone attacks travel to the few mental institutions in the region, located in distant Peshawar, for treatment. Some come from as far as Kabul. Doctors at the hospitals say the number of patients they are treating has increased by threefold in recent years.
