What's Cookin'?

What's Cookin'?

With healthy, fresh lunch choices, Jenny's Lunch Line is now open Saturdays with new summer options from a menu that changes daily. Stop in for something your nutritionist would approve of after you're all stocked up on local produce from the Saturday Market.

Jenny's Lunch Line, 106 N. 6th St., 208-433-0092, www.jennyslunchline.com. Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

After undergoing extensive surgery, including a scenery change indoors, a completely revamped menu and even a name change, the space formerly known as Taste and Richard's of Hyde Park is now reopened and fully functional as Bungalow. Serving all your food needs all day long (that's right, from breakfast to lunch and all the way through dinner and drinks), Bungalow threatens to sate food cravings you didn't even know you had with comfort food for the foodie in you.

Help Feed A Hungry Face

"Org 4 fud seeks vols + donations." Translation: The Idaho Foodbank's Letter Carrier Food Drive needs donations as well as the help of volunteers for its annual collection on Saturday, May 12. To donate, place non-perishable food in a grocery bag near your mailbox (the Foodbank cannot accept homemade or out-of-date goods), and your USPS letter carrier will throw it into the mail truck like a sack of outgoing mail. Volunteers are also needed to sort the expected 250,000 pounds of food.

For more information visit www.idahofoodbank.org, or to volunteer, call Cindy Fenn at 208-336-9643, ext. 236.
