Who rocks a party?

Who rocks a party?

Every year, Boise Weekly throws a mean Best of Boise celebration. This year, we're taking it up a notch with a blowout on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Knitting Factory. It's free and open to the public.

For our 2008 Best of Boise poll this year (voting ended Friday, Aug. 29), we implemented a couple of small but significant changes. We made the voting online only (no messy paper ballots this year) and asked that readers vote for local establishments only. The response was great, and we saw some winners we expected and, as always, a few surprises. Our post-BOB issue party is always a highly anticipated event since it gives us a chance to mix and mingle with some of Boise's best, but we made a change in regards to the celebration as well. We'll have live music, and we decided it would be great to let our readers have a say in that as well. We figured a cover band would be a great way to keep the party jumping. To decide if The Need, Spindlebomb, The Naughties or the Rocci Johnson Band should help us rock the night away, visit boiseweekly.com.

Saturday, Sept. 27, 7-9 p.m., FREE. The Knitting Factory Concert House, 416 S. Ninth St. For more information, call Boise Weekly at 208-344-2055.
