Winter Garden aGlow

Thursday, Nov. 26-Sunday, Jan. 3

Lights, lights, lights and more lights.

Laurie Pearman

Lights, lights, lights and more lights.

It's one thing to visit Santa at a mall; it's another to tell him what you want against a backdrop of enough lights to make Emmett look like Las Vegas—-which you can do at the Idaho Botanical Garden's 19th annual Winter Garden aGlow.

Parents can have their children professionally photographed with Santa and do some shopping at the Holiday Garden Gift Store. The main attraction, though, is the garden itself, which has been decorated with more than 300,000 holiday lights hanging from every possible surface, transforming the garden into a brightly lit wonderland sure to bring a smile to the faces of parents and children alike.
