World Refugee Day Celebration and Soccer Friendly

Boise Grove, Ann Morrison Park, Saturday, June 23

In Boise, immigrants are more than a political talking point—they're our neighbors, coworkers and friends. And there's no better time to celebrate Boise's many cultures than on World Refugee Day, when folks of all nationalities will gather in Grove Plaza for a citizenship ceremony and day-long celebration including plenty of ethnic food and art, as well as booths representing local refugee-friendly nonprofits. After lunch, the festivities will shift to Ann Morrison Park for a non-competitive Soccer Friendly, starting with a free youth clinic provided by Boise State University soccer coaches at 1 p.m.
