Re: “Reel Foods Fish Market Closing Jan. 31, New Location Still TBA

Doesnt Boise have a small business development department to help businesses like this? Without Reel Foods in the dowtown there will be no fish market. The displacement of a core business like this os a real loss for the city.

Re: “The Idaho K-12 Teacher Brain Drain

Republicans keep insisting we don't have any such problem. Everything in Idaho is hunky dory with its lowball educational approach. What could possibly go wrong.

Re: “Lisa Sanchez

I didn't vote for Ms. Sanchez - I voted for another non-incumbent, however. I congratulate her on her win, and hope she's a very successful member of the City Council!

I also hope she understands that people OTHER THAN the poor make up this community. There is a large contingent of middle class tax-paying Boise citizens who feel they have been ignored for years by our local elected "representatives." The mayor and Council have a reputation for focusing on, and catering to the needs of, downtown, and the north and east end. Us southerners and westerners get the table scraps. I'm hoping Ms. Sanchez will keep the rest of us in mind, as she deliberates and votes.
