Re: “10 Barrel’s ‘Rose Bois’ Fancy Beer Release Party

I was at this event, and mentioned the advertised 6pm taster of the new beer, and they were genuinely confused. I had to show them the posting to be believed. I'm curious how this came to be, because that was pretty much the main draw coming here, and otherwise I'd need to shell out $18 minimum to even try it.

Not everyone uses Facebook. It's lazy to use it solely for information about your event.

Re: “Tambalka

You're right! If you hear them one time, and happen to enjoy some of it, you can count on it being an entirely different sound the next time. The violinist is always fun to watch. I go just to watch him. The rest of the band is a crap shoot. Mostly crap!

Re: “Tambalka

Musical mercenaries! People rotate through this band like crap through a goose. The only thing keeping this loose assembly together is the music: the genius of the drummer/writer who saw the writing on the wall and was smart enough to leave rather than battle with the egos. If you want to see really great music played poorly, this is the band to see.

Re: “Glass Blowing Classes

NICE GLASS!! Very creative and uses color with imagination!
Lisa is very passionate about her glass work and her designs show it. She's willing to explore anything your imagination can come up with for a new design if you wish something made to order.
Personally I love her cherry blossoms. But she has some very unique ideas.

Re: “Boise Classic Movies: Purple Rain Prince Tribute

Just curious if anything else is planned in Boise over the weekend as a Prince Tribute. For example, I live in Richland, WA and various local radio stations are sponsoring a party in our local John Dam Plaza (kind of like an Alive at 5 thing) playing his music all night. Would be a great idea for Boise in The Grove.

Re: “Esteban Anastasio Flamenco Guitar

I guess this guy is now billing himself as a jazz player. He wouldn't know Satin Doll if it bit him in the ass. Avoid Chandlers until later on Tuesdays unless you enjoy disappointment.

Re: “OTO Meet-and-Greet

Very Informative. Had a lot of fun meeting everyone. I was surprised by genuinely passionate these people are about their stuff, and how knowledgeable they were. I'll be around for sure more often. Snacks however were subpar.....

Re: “SHE SAID WHAT??? The Diva Monologue Show

Joan Crawford, Bette Davis .... and Jane Lynch? What do they all have in common? Each has performed a diva like speech on film. Be it comedy or over the top drama, these ladies have delivered the goods.

What could be better than that?? Gay men and Allies performing the classics live in a night of high camp.

The Balcony Club and The Boise Gay Men's Chorus present " SHE SAID WHAT??? " an "outside the box" theater showcase of some of the greatest meltdowns ever.

This theater in the round style show will feature BGMC in a night of monologues of both words and music. Add in a few special guests from Boise's comedy and performing arts scene and you have a night you won't forget.

Re: “Esteban Anastasio Flamenco Guitar

Horribles mierda! Esteban Anastasio no tiene pasión. Su forma de tocar la guitarra no tiene dwende . Si quieres escuchar el flamenco verdadero , escuchar Distrito 19 , o la banda Shimi Árbol.
